Hello trippers! This post has been quite late because I was a little bit busy and really needed a free time to do this. One thing more, editing video is time-consuming that I even asked for multiple days-off and vacation leave just to finish it. Huh! One thing more, when I already had the time, there was a problem in the blogger platform because it can not load the "page creator" page but I can browse other sites. However, at least I'm back. Hehe.

Well, Binatbatan Festival this year is a little bit stressful but enjoyable because the street dancing started at the 3 pm under the scorching summer heat and ended up 'til night! Huh!

The final showdown was finished the next day already and that was non-stop. May 7 was the start of the street dancing and in a continuous manner ended up on the dawn of May 8! Quite long, stressful and horrible! They must have started it at morning to accommodate the program.

Anyway tripper, here is my official video show for this event and 10 minutes was too short to show all the events. Blame it to YouTube, they only allow not more than 15 minutes in every single video. Lol!

Hello trippers! This is my special blog coverage for the VIVA VIGAN Festival of the Arts 2011! Yepeeeeeeeeee!!!

During May, I am so stressed with the traffic jams, overcrowding and noisy cars in Vigan because of tourists, visitors and local residents that are going in Vigan. But, how can I blame them? They just want to experience the beauty, color, culture and heritage of Vigan. And this scenario makes Vigan so alive and kicking all year round!

Vigan is in fact full of celebrations and festivities that Vigan has inherited from the Spanish colonizers who made Vigan their center for trade and religion during those times. And gladly, Vigan has retained her old glory, culture and beauty. This next article is a video presentation of the Calesa Parade I was able to witness. Viewing those lovely and colorful calesas has transferred my time orientation hundred of years ago giving me the feeling of an old Royal ambiance hundred years ago.

The opening of the month of May is so grand in Vigan because the whole city is colored by the beautiful calesas which were so colorful, stunning and wonderful!

With this event, called the calesa parade, still a part of the Viva Vigan Festival of the Arts which is made up of many festivities, I was able to document it in video! Watch it guys! This event was sponsored by San Miguel Beer Corporation and here is the video.

If there is marathon, Vigan also has bankathon. It is a race for boats. This event is still a part of the week-long celebration of VIVA VIGAN Festival of the Arts 2011 which as the title implies, features different kinds of arts especially Ilocano arts particularly in Vigan.

Vigan is a coastal city but its coastline is very limited and short. There are only two coastal communities in Vigan and they are Mindoro and San Pedro but about more than half of the coastline falls under the jurisdiction of Brgy. Mindoro so Mindoro alone, is considered by most of the Buigenios as the only beach in Vigan.

By the way I was present at this event to document it in video. Let's watch this video trippers!

Hello guys! I am excited to share with you this video blog during the Candle lighting ceremony at the Abra River. This is EDMARATION etc's special coverage to this event and I was touched by the unity of the people of Santa in celebrating this event.

To note, it was the 437th year of the foundation of Santa, Ilocos Sur as a town and to begin the celebration, a candlelighting ceremony was done at the Abra River below the New Quirino Bridge in Brgy Banaoang.

It was a Black Saturday and we celebrated the end of the Lent with my cousins, aunts and my bro in Mindoro Beach in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines until my "usisero" eyes saw something. The fishermen of Mindoro are joining hands in unloading the boat from the sea. I tried to approach them and I discovered that they had no plenty of catch. But, two poor fishes were captured - they are the Puffer Fish which is my first time to encounter - a poisonous/killer fish but according to the fishermen, they will eat them!

In fact, Puffer Fish, locally known as "Butete" is popular in Japan but this fish has killed a lot of eaters there. Aside from being a killer fish, it is also very expensive in the restaurants. Now, it was a great opportunity for me to see this kind of fish and because of the overwhelming feelings I experienced, I made my own short film/documentary regarding this fish.
